Who we share your data with
Only with those who need to process it in order to provide us with a service, and always under a data processing agreement:
- Shopify — shop platform, hosting, checkout and commercial email (Shopify Email).
- Payment providers — Shop Pay, PayPal, Klarna and the card networks, which handle the payment. We do not store your full card details.
- SEUR and FedEx, and Outvio for shipping and returns: name, address and phone, so your order can be delivered.
- Judge.me — product reviews: name and email.
- Google — analytics and advertising, if you accept the relevant cookies.
- Technical suppliers of the site — PageFly, Instafeed and TinySEO, as far as necessary for it to work.
And with public authorities where a law requires it. We do not sell your data, nor pass it to third parties for commercial purposes.
We do not currently upload your email address to advertising platforms to build audiences on Google or Meta. Should that change, this policy would be updated first.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of these providers are based outside the European Union, mainly in the United States and Canada. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decisions or on standard contractual clauses, depending on the provider.
How long we keep it
- Order and invoicing data: for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the periods required by commercial and tax law.
- Enquiries: as long as needed to resolve them and to show that they were dealt with.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Browsing data: the lifetime of each cookie, set out in the cookie policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to have it erased, to object to its processing, to restrict it and to data portability. You may also withdraw your consent where processing is based on it, without affecting what was done beforehand.
To exercise them, write to info@ferrotecnia.com saying what you want. We reply within the statutory period of one month.
If you believe we have not dealt with your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es), C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid — or to the supervisory authority of your own country.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, alteration and unauthorised access. The shop runs entirely over an encrypted connection.
Minors
This shop is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
