GEDORE 95 flat machinist's chisels are manufactured according to DIN 6453 using high-quality 45CrMoV7 steel, a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy that guarantees exceptional strength and durability. This steel is uniformly hardened along its entire length by air treatment and then carefully tempered to optimize hardness and toughness. The striking heads undergo induction tempering, protecting them against repeated impacts and extending their service life. The working surface has a polished and clear lacquered finish, preventing corrosion and facilitating identification. This combination of processes ensures a robust, reliable chisel suitable for demanding mechanical work.
