Compressed non-woven disc with a fiberglass backing pad, made from compressed layers of abrasive cloth and resin. Used on angle grinders to prepare surfaces for painting. It easily removes marks from previous processes and reduces workpiece roughness. It allows for a high-gloss finish without the need for abrasive pastes. Applications : 500 Series - Soft Density : General stripping , rust removal, pre-painting stripping. Polishing of soft metals prior to applying layers. 600 Series - Medium Density : Polishing after weld bead removal, on castings, and bar-cutting. Polishing and finishing on surgical instruments. Polishing on cast aluminum, copper, and bronze. Retouching of stainless steel surgical instruments, rolling and machining defects. Removing flash from injected plastic parts. 700 Series - Medium-Hard Density : Pickling : Removal of heavy scale, aluminum oxidation, brass plating on steel pipes, discoloration on welds Deburring : Removing burrs from punched holes in stainless steel, 80-grit abrasive marks on nickel alloys and 100-grit abrasive marks on aluminum, and reflections. Deburring gear wheels (edges on turbines and propellers). 800 Series - Hard Density : Polishing welds on stainless steel sinks and basins, machined surfaces, hand tools, round tubes. Deburring threads on stainless steel pipes, sharp edges on surgical instruments, sinks, basins, and other parts for the food industry, and gear wheels. Smoothing edges on extruded aluminum parts.
