Model:

• Easy to change cutting plates
• Powder Metalworking HSS Steel Cutting Plates
• Manufactured by a MIM (Metal Injection Molding) process
• Extremely long lifespan compared to traditional cable cutters
• An extremely clean cut that safely prevents steel cables from unraveling
• Recommendation: In medium-sized hands, cables of approx. 5mm diameter. This is why it is especially suitable to cut shrouds in emergency situations at sea.

Jaws/edges:

• Special arc-shaped cutting edges
• Cutting plates can be easily replaced when signs of wear occur.
• Edge hardness 62 - 65 HRC
• Thanks to its optimal cutting geometry, the force to be applied is reduced
• Two integrated extruded profiles for Bowden cable closure sleeves and steel cable closure sleeves

Cutting capacity:

• Steel cables up to 1800 N/mm2 with a maximum diameter of 6 mm (e.g. stainless steel cables, cables with steel core and textile core, Bowden cables, shrouds)
• Wire up to 750 N/mm2 with a maximum diameter of 4 mm (e.g. nails, screws, bolts, ceiling supports)
• Single or multi-wire aluminum and copper cables with a maximum diameter of 6 mm
