SAERTEX LEO® coated fabric is a fiberglass fabric with an integrated intumescent fire protection coating, which forms an insulating layer in the event of a fire. This combination of lightweight construction with integrated fire protection can be incorporated into any monolithic or sandwich composite structure construction to meet the most demanding fire protection requirements.

  • Processing: Designed for use in closed molding applications (infusion, RTM, press molding, etc.)

  • Labeling (standard): Each roll is equipped with a label on the core. Another label is located on the outside, on the foil or on the box.
  • Packaging (standard): Each roll is rolled on a cardboard core and wrapped in aluminum foil. Other packaging options can be determined individually.
  • Storage recommendation: Protect from humidity and direct sunlight. To avoid humidity and electrostatic charge problems, fabrics must be conditioned 24 hours before processing, regardless of storage conditions.
