In the event of fire, FLAMMADUR® F 500 forms a heat-insulating foam and fills joints, gaps and other openings, thus preventing the passage of heat. FLAMMADUR® F 500 is a ready-to-use intumescent sealing system composed of flexible polyurethane foam. It is designed to waterproof cable and pipe penetrations into rolling stock. The system can be individually adapted to specific customer needs. A wide variety of molded parts, including complex moldings, can be customized based on customer requirements and on-site conditions.

Area of ​​application

FLAMMADUR® F 500 can be molded into bricks, sheets, strips, plugs or other shapes for various firestop applications, including self-adhesive types. For special requirements it is also possible to obtain FLAMMADUR® F 500 in complex shapes, in combinations with other surfaces and construction materials or in self-adhesive types.

Manipulated

  • FLAMMADUR® F 500 should not be exposed to direct atmospheric impacts, such as torrential rain, alternating freeze-thaw or UV radiation.
  • If the installation site is such that the construction material will be exposed to special stresses, for example, to the constant influence of chemicals or aerosols, additional tests must be provided.
  • The substrate must be free of contamination.
