1. Drill:
First drill out the damaged thread with a RUKO twist drill bit. Please note that
Larger holes are required on thread forming devices. Check
that the tap and threaded stud in the ProCoil set have the same thread and pitch.
2. Terracing:
Now, the new retaining thread is cut with a tap in the drilled hole.
The use of cutting oil is recommended.
3. Mounting the threaded bushing:
Insert the socket into the screw-in tool. Make sure that the pin of the socket is in the
retainer seats in the groove opening and the captive ring is tight. Now, turn
the threaded bushing in the direction of the thread, applying slight pressure.
Caution: DO NOT turn in the opposite direction, the pin may break.
4. Breakage of the pin:
Remove the screwing tool and break off the retaining pin with the breaking mandrel.
