Retrofit Modules

The GEAQUELLO® E 234 retrofit modules are made of a fireproof and inflatable fireproof material based on polyurethane, non-toxic, without fibers or solvents. These modules ensure trouble-free retrofitting of cables and pipes of any type and serve as position markers in penetrations protected with GEAQUELLO® E 950 or CPS sealing systems.

Use

Formed parts of GEAQUELLO® E 234 are used as retrofit modules (position markers) for cable and pipe penetrations in the GEAQUELLO® E 950 or CPS sealing system. The modules must be placed in the sealing compound by the user. In the event of fire, GEAQUELLO® E 234 develops a stable insulating layer with a reduced temperature effect and expansion pressure, which can be used mechanically, for example, to seal flammable pipes according to SOLAS requirements. GEAQUELLO® E 234 modules are insensitive to humidity and largely consistent with typical technical oils, acids and leachates.

  • Processing: GEAQUELLO® E 234 retrofit modules will be available in diameters of 40, 66 and 90 mm. Tested media: Cable up to 37 mm; flammable pipes up to Ø 63 mm; metal tubes up to Ø 22 mm. The distance to the other compounds must be two layers R 312 / R 380: The annular space must be at least 8 mm after drilling. It will be filled with GEAQUELLO® E 234 T material cartridges.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Delivery form: Box of 0.3 kg, 0.75 kg, 1.5 kg
  • Certificates: The product has MED approval according to the IMO. Patent application with Ref.: 10 2018 114 683.3.
